Overview:

INSULITE 7 is a low-density insulating castable specially formulated for thermal insulation in high-temperature environments. Based on exfoliated vermiculite and bonded hydraulically, this material combines excellent insulating properties with ease of application, making it ideal for reducing heat loss in industrial furnaces and equipment operating up to 1100°C.

Properties:

Low Thermal Conductivity ensures superior insulation at elevated temperatures. Hydraulic Bonding System enables easy and rapid setting during installation. Lightweight with a bulk density of only 0.82 gm/cc, contributing to lower structural loads. Excellent Thermal Stability with minimal linear change upon heating. Moderate Strength with CCS of 15 Kg/cm² (110°C) and 12 Kg/cm² (1100°C), sufficient for insulating linings.

Applications:

Back-up insulation lining behind dense refractories in kilns and furnaces. Thermal insulation for equipment operating in the 800–1100°C range. Insulation layer in chimneys, ducts, and stacks. Ideal for industries such as ceramics, metallurgy, petrochemicals, and cement where energy efficiency is crucial. Used in areas where high insulation is needed with low load-bearing requirements.
